Ilona Kalaszczyńska, PhD is a graduate of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw. She completed her doctoral thesis at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School in Boston. Since 2010, she is an associated professor in the Department of Histology and Embryology of the Medical University of Warsaw, where she pursues her research interests in the field of tissue engineering / regenerative medicine, cell biology. She is the scientific project manager of STRATEGMED - Diagnosis of gliomas based on free circulating DNA (Gliomed). As the faculty member of the Medical University of Warsaw, she teaches cytophysiology and histology. In addition, as a quality control manager at the Laboratory for Cell Research and Application of the Medical University of Warsaw, she supervises the quality of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATIMP and HE-ATMP). She underwent numerous training in the field of quality management, legal requirements for medicinal products and medical devices. She is certified ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 13485: 2016 internal auditor.
