Ewa Kowalska
Biotechnology Specialist

A graduate of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, with a degree in Biotechnology.

In 2018, she earned a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Medical Biotechnology. Her master's thesis was conducted at the Department of Microbiology, Institute of Biology, Jan Kochanowski University, and focused on the isolation, identification, and antimicrobial resistance profiling of uropathogenic bacterial strains isolated from patients diagnosed with bladder cancer. She has also completed four postgraduate study programs aligned with her professional development.

Between 2019 and 2025, she was employed at the Regional Science and Technology Center, where her responsibilities included biobanking and the isolation of biological material, umbilical cord blood processing, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and microbiological analyses. She contributed to research projects involving lipid profile characterization and vitamin D concentration assessment among residents of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. She is a co-author of several peer-reviewed scientific publications in the fields of medical and health sciences, particularly within the scope of molecular genetics.
