Laboratory for Cell Research and Applicarion
has participated in
Biorepository Proficiency Testing Program 2020
and received certificates confirming the excellent quality of work with biological material.
Every year, the Program is joined by centers from all over the world who want to undergo an external quality assessment of their analyzes of biological samples. The program is organized by an internationally recognized accredited unit - Integrated BioBank of Luxembourg (IBBL).
LBBK assessed the methods used in three categories:
- Cell viability (trypan blue staining method and cytometric method)
- RNA concentration and purity (spectrophotometric method)
- DNA concentrations and purity (spectrophotometric method)
The received certificates confirm the competence, precision and accuracy of LBBK employees and prove the credibility and high quality of our results.
The program organizer - IBBL - is a scientific unit with the following certificates: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017, operating in accordance with the principles of ISO 17043:2010 (proficiency testing), ISO Guide 34:2009 (production of reference materials), NF S96-900:2011 (certification) and the French national standard specifying the requirements for the management system of the Biological Resource Center (BRC) and the quality of biological resources. In addition, the program has been approved by the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories - ISBER.
