Agnieszka Mroczko
Biotechnology Specialist

   A graduate of the Faculty of Biological Sciences with a specialization in Human Health at Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom, where she received the prestigious Athena Swan scholarship. Participation in the program enabled her to acquire a solid foundation in scientific research methodology and laboratory practice, culminating in a publication based on her conducted research. Agnieszka subsequently completed a master’s degree in Drug Design and Biomedical Science at Edinburgh Napier University, which provided her with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills in modern methods of drug discovery and development, biotechnology, molecular pharmacology, and toxicology.
   Agnieszka is a fully qualified phlebotomist with practical experience in collecting umbilical cord blood for stem cell isolation. This experience contributed to the development of her clinical competencies as well as communication and collaboration skills with patients and donors. Additionally, she honed interpersonal skills and was able to apply her prior experience working with documentation gained during her studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Zielona Góra.
   Agnieszka possesses broad and diverse professional experience gained in several laboratories across the United Kingdom — ranging from hospital settings and clinical research to research laboratories and biorefineries. After returning to Poland, she joined the Medical University of Warsaw, where she works as a biotechnology specialist at the Laboratory for Cell Research and Application. Agnieszka also serves as Deputy Representative for the Quality Assurance and Management System at the LBBK Biobank. Simultaneously, she is involved in the activities of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility affiliated with LBBK, where she is responsible for tasks related to the production of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) intended for clinical trials.     Agnieszka also actively participates in scientific research projects conducted within the institution.
