Ilona Szabłowska-Gadomska graduated from the University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz, renamed to University of Science and Technology in 2006. She also holds a PhD degree from the Mossakowski Medical Research Centre Polish Academy of Sciences. She conducted the PhD works at the Laboratory of Stem Cell Bioengineering at the Neuro Repair Department. Areas of her research and scientific interests included cell reprogramming, epigenetics, cell differentiation and physiological hypoxia.
As a Quality Analyst Specialist and Microbiologist, she was involved in microbiological research of medicinal products, cosmetics, water and food. She performed monitoring of microbiological purity of cleanroom areas. She conducted trainings in the field of microbiological methods.
As a GLP/GMP coordinator she was responsible for implementation of quality systems. She gained a Diploma of Quality Manager issued by the Warsaw School of Economics. She has completed numerous trainings in the field of quality management, passed her exams and obtained certificates i.a.: Auditor of the internal integrated management system ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, PN-N-18001:2004 - Certificate (Bureau Veritas Certification and SGH) and Internal Auditor in laboratories according to standards PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (GFW).
In 2022, she completed postgraduate studies for Qualified Person at the Medical University of Lodz.
As part of her research and academic activity at the Medical University of Warsaw, she conducted discussions and lectures in the field of molecular biology, in vitro cell cultures. What is more, she also dealt with issues related to oncogenesis and in vitro testing of potential chemotherapeutics.
Currently she works in the Laboratory for Cell Research and Application where she is responsible for the production of advanced therapy medicinal products.
